The prosecutor's office of the Brest region has issued an official warning to Radio Racyja correspondent Dzmitry Kisel for working in Belarus without accreditation.

“They asked me to terminate cooperation with Radio Racyja, because even if I decide to work for an official accredited media outlet, I won't be given accreditation, because I have already violated the legislation two times. They said if there is a complaint against me, I may face administrative or criminal responsibility depending on analysis of the materials,” Dzmitry Kisel said.

It was the second warning issued by the prosecutor's office to correspondent Dzmitry Kisel for working without accreditation. The first one was given in 2009, Radio Racyja reports.

Pressure on Radio Racyja journalists from the law-enforcement bodies has significantly increased in 2012.
