The head of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Eamon Gilmore, has called for the reinstatement of an OSCE presence in Belarus.

According to the OSCE head, human rights and freedom of assembly are systematically violated in Belarus, the BBC Russian Service reports.
