Mikalai Statkeivich sends letter from Mahilyou prison

It is the first letter received from this prison by the wife of the political prisoner, Maryna Adamovich.

According to the information on Statkevich’s website, the letter was written after the political prisoner was released from a punishment cell on January 24-25.

According to Statkevich he was told in the prison, his file from the Shklou penal colony says he is “inclined to attacks and escape”. We remind that Statkevich was transferred to the prison in Mahilyou after a court trial in the penal colony.

Statkevich writes he is allowed a daily hour’s walk in the prison yard with dogs.
