Portraits of Sannikov in Brest streets (Photo)

An action to support presidential candidate Andrei Sannikov was held in Brest.

Activists of European Belarus civil campaign pasted broadsheet posters “Freedom for Sannikov!” and “Sannikov is my president!” on city's central streets, the European Belarus campaign press service reports.

Thousands of city residents could see a poster of 3 square metres on an advertising pillar opposite the central shopping centre.

We remind that presidential candidate Andrei Sannikov was sentenced to five-year imprisonment for taking part in a protest demonstration against the rigged election results. The political prisoners has faced torture and cruel treatment in prison.
