The Belarusian delegation filed a complaint to the UN General Assembly over refusal to allow Lukashenka to visit London.

A meeting of the General Assembly over agenda item “Sport for Peace and Development” was held in the UN headquarters in New York on November 28. Belarus's representative Nikolai Ovsyanko complained at a trend to use the Olympic Games to exert pressure on sovereign states, United Nations Radio reports.

The Belarusian representative complained at biased judges, doping scandals and “double standards” of Olympic officials.

The Olympic Games in London were held from July 27 to August 12. The record number of heads of states, 120, attended the opening ceremony, but EU blacklisted leaders, including Lukashenka, didn't come.
