Charter’97 in the leaders of Yandex’s search requests

Yandex explored what users from other countries search for about Belarus.

Every week the users put around 3.7 million search requests about Belarus in the Yandex search engine, the company’s press-service reports.

In 28% of the cases the requests come from foreign states (predominantly from Russia). The most requests about Belarus come from the users from the neighboring Russian regions – Smolensk, Briansk and Pskov. Apart from that an increased interest in shown by Kaliningrad, Murmansk, Kiev, Orel, Kaluga, Chernigov, Novgorod and Tver regions and also the Kamchatka Krai. Typical for Belarus subjects most looked for are – the Brest fortress, Avtomalinovka web-site and Charter’97 web-site.
