European Parliament to adopt resolution on Belarusian “elections”

The European Parliament discusses the “parliamentary elections” in Belarus at its session in Strasbourg on October 26.
The resolution is expected to be adopted following the debate, BelaPAN news agency reports.
The European Parliament is expected to name the winner of Andrei Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought.
Jailed Belarusian human rights activist Ales Byalyatski has been shorltisted for the prize.
