Head of the Kalinkavichy district executive committee Pilipets arrested?

In the Gomel region arrests of the heads of the district executive committees continue.

According to unofficial information the head of the executive committee of Kalinkavichy town Ivan Pilipets was arrested.

As a staff member of the Kalinkavichi district police department states, having returned from vacations Ivan Pilipets fell ill immediately. And later he wrote a letter of resignation. The local newspaper, which would previously be overstuffed with messages from the planning meetings of the committee, is silent now, Narodnaya Volia reports.

By the way, the head of Kainkavichy is a brother of the head of the Gomel city executive committee Viktar Pilipets.

The locals say that Ivan Pilipets did the same things for which his relative was arrested - machinations with land for construction sites and apartments for officials.
