Police didn't find who damaged opposition member's car

The registration number of the car of possible provocateurs didn't help.

Unknown people punctured four tyres of Dzyanis Turchanyak's, a coordinator of For Freedom movement in Brest, on September 19. The car was parked near activist's home, Euroradio reports.

Activist's brother Kanstantin saw the punctures. He also saw a man walking away from the car. He got in a car nearby and drove away, but the brother managed to remember the vehicle registration number. Police put the vehicle on the wanted list.

Dzyanis Turchanyak says the inquiry into the administrative case has already been completed. Police failed to find the guilty people for the lack of evidence. The vehicle registration number, which activist's brother wrote down, is reported by road police to have been deregistered in 2005. One can only guess how it got to the hooligans.

The public activist thinks the incident was revenge for his active participation in the election campaign.
