Andrei Sannikov sends letter to his mother

The political prisoner congratulated his mother, Alla Sannikova, on her birthday.

There has not been letters from the presidential candidate for the last two month. Sannikov is held in penal colony Vitsba-3 in full isolation unable to meet with lawyers or his family. Even a short letter to his mother is of importance as a proof the political prisoner is alive.

“My dear mum, happy birthday! I wish you all the best, health and warmth. I’d like you to worry less and be happy! I wish you health again. Please, take care of your health. This is a selfish wish, because I need you to be healthy, strong, cheerful, wise, careful and thoughtful – as you are now. You are a wonderful MUM, I love you so much! Sorry if I unwillingly hurt you sometimes. Kiss you, Andrei,” Andrei Sannikov wrote.
