Liquefied gas to go up 24% at filling stations on August 1

Consumer prices of liquefied petroleum gas at filling stations in Belarus will be increased by 24 percent starting August 1.

The appropriate decision appeared in order of the Ministry of Economy No 113 of July 25, 2011, AFN news agency reports.

The minimum price limit will grow from 1,900 Belarusian rubles per 1 litre to 2,370 rubles, the maximum price limit will be increased from 2,050 to 2,550 rubles.

This is the second increase in liquefied gas prices this year after a 35% rise in April.
