Activist Ivan Stasyuk from Brest was detained on the Belarusian-Polish border and guarded to a KGB department in Brest.

Belarusian border guards took away his passport on the Belarusian border and told the activist his document would be returned by “other bodies” after a conversation, Radio Racyja reports.

As Ivan Stasyuk stressed, KGB officers wanted him to stop his opposition activity in social networks:

“I was detained on the customs and taken to a KGB building. They asked me about my activity in Internet communities, visits to Ukraine to patriotic forums of National Alliance, my contacts with Ukrainians, and my trip to Poland.”

Ivan Stasyuk added that KGB officers threatened to apply pressure on his family in Belarus and spread false information among his friends about his collaboration with KGB.
