Lukashenka seeks salvation by Nazarbayev

On May 23-25 Alyaksandr Lukashenka is to visit Kazakhstan on an official visit.

Interfax agency has been informed about that by the press-service of the Belarusian ruler.

“The programme of the visit includes talks of the head of the Belarusian president with the president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in expanded and in narrow format,” they noted.

During the visit it is planned to sign a number of bilateral agreements, the press-service continued.

“The main issue during the talks is to become development of trade and economic relations and cooperation in the framework of the Customs Union and the Single Economic space,” the press-service stressed.

“The leaders of Belarus and Kazakhstan will also discuss the situation in the post-Soviet space and burning issues of the international agenda,” the press-service added.
