Charter’97 website attacked again

  • 19.04.2011, 17:38

Today, at 3.15 p.m. Minsk time, charter97.org website was subjected to massive DDoS-attack again.

Our technical capacities do not allow rebuffing such a hammering attack, and visitors will have problems accessing the website.

We directly associate this attack with the desire of the dictator’s regime to gag dissenting voices.

We remind that on December 20, 2010 overnight the editorial office of the website in Minsk was raided and liquidated, and its team arrested. The website’s editor-in-chief Natallya Radzina was imprisoned in the KGB jail for more than a month, and released on recognizance then. She had to leave Belarus in order not to become a victim of unjust verdict of the marionette Belarusian court.
