Dashkevich and Lobau to stand trial March 21

The court of the Maskouski district of Minsk has set a trial date for Young Front activists Zmitser Dashekvich and Eduard Lobau.

The trial starts on March 21.

The young men are charged with hooliganism. They were detained ahead of a demonstration against the rigged presidential election and taken to a detention facility in Zhodzina. Dashkevich’s lawyer Pavel Sapelka was disbarred after the case had been sent to court. Lawyer Marianna Syameshka is expected to defend the activist at the trial.
