Slutsk district executive committee warns: there are no political prisoners in Belarus

Slutsk district executive committee has denied activists of “Tell the Truth!” campaign the right to hold a picket of solidarity with political prisoners. As it is said in the answer, “there are no political prisoners in Belarus.”

“In connection with the declared of the event, the district executive committee has to warn you that there are no political prisoners in Belarus,” the answer signed by the chairman of the executive committee Uladzimir Damaneuski reads, Radio Svaboda informs.

Despite of that, in Slutsk, Zhodzina and other cities rallies of solidarity with persons arrested and accused for participation in December 19 events continue.
