Artiom Lebedko: ”The lawlessness is flagrant”

Anatoly Lebedko’s family have not received letters from the politician for two weeks.

Moreover, they are not allowed to visit him. Lebedko’s family are not willing to tolerate this attitude and are going to fight for their legal rights.

Yesterday, Svetlana and Artiom Lebedko submitted a request for a visit with the Investigation department of preliminary inquest of the Minsk executive committee main interior department.

“We have already sent this request for more than a month ago”, Artiom told the website ucpb.org. “But we have never received any written response. We just were told that the chief of the investigation is on vacation and the demand of a visit cannot be met. After what we’ve heard today from Mikhalevich we are going to send these letters on a daily basis until he is released or allowed to accept visitors. And we will be calling the investigation chief every day unless he kindly sends us a written response. The lawlessness has got flagrant.”
