Vinnikova to perform a song about “Bielorussia” at Eurovision

Anastasia Vinnikova will represent Belarus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf.

As BelTA news agency learned from the press service of the Belarusian Television and Radio Company, Vinikova will perform the song “Born in Bielorussia” (music by Yevgeni Oleynik, lyrics by Yevgeni Oleynik and Viktor Rudenko).

29 songs were submitted to the Belarusian Television and Radio Company from Belarus, Latvia, the USA, Spain, Greece, Luxembourg, Moldova, and Russia. 22 candidates were admitted for internal selection.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2011 will be held in Germany on May 10-14.
