Sannikov’s sister: Iryna was brought, and everyone was thrown out

On January 29 in the evening without prior notice Iryna Khalip was taken back home from the KGB prison.

At that moment all her family gathered there: Iryna Khalip’s parents with her son Danik, Andrei Sannikov’s mother Alla, Andrei Sannikov’s elder son with his wife and child. KGB officers ordered everyone to clear off at once, only Uladzimir and Lyutsyna Khalip could stay in the flat.

“I called my mother in the moment when they were thrown out of the house, she was in tears, she was prohibited to come to Danik and see her daughter-in-law,” Iryna Bahdanava, a sister of the presidential candidate Andrei Sannikov said. Andrei Sannikov remains in the KGB jail.

“Now two savages are to stay at Iryna’s home all the time, she is prohibited to talk to anyone, to go out. She cannot even go for a walk with her child! Danik won’t go anywhere without her now!” Iryna Bahdanava said. “I do not know what Iryna’s parents are going to handle this matter. Uladzimir Khalip has undergone several eye surgeries recently, and now again there is such a serious stress for him.”

“Iryna has not been freed from charges, it means she is to stand trial. And what’s next? What will happen to the child? It is real fascism,” said the sister of the politician.
