Human rights activists detained for dissemination of UN Convention in Belarus

Human rights activists from Brest Raman Kislyak and Andrei Sharenda were detained for handing out the UN Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance.

The human rights activists distributed printed materials not far from the building of the Prosecutor's office in Soviet Constitution Street, Radio Svaboda informs.

The human rights activists dedicated their action to the 11th anniversary of disappearances of the former Interior Minister and an oppositional politician Yury Zakharanka. At the moment Raman Kislyak and Andrei Sharenda are in a police department of Maskouski district of Brest.
