The spokesperson of the Young Front was beaten up during crackdown of the action on February 14.

After the girl had been released from the Tsentralny district militia department, she went to hospital where she was diagnosed with “minor closed head injury”.

The Young Front website reports the girl was walking beside the participants of the action dressed as angels. She hit her head on the ground during the crackdown.

Tatsyana Shaputska is at home now, as she refused to stay at hospital.

We remind that the Young Front’s traditional action on St Valentine’s Day was dispersed by riot militia. Participants of the action were beaten up brutally, 25 people were arrested.

Tatsyana Shaputska was expelled from Belarusian State University at the end of 2009 after she had taken part in the Civil Society Forum of “Eastern Partnership” in Brussels on November 16-17. The EU leadership called on her readmission to the university, but the Belarusian authorities refused to make concessions.
