Such voting results are impossible even in conditions of harshest dictatorship.

One of coordinators of “For Fair Elections” campaign Vasil Palyakou has informed to BelaPAN that in the closed polling station #49 in Chyhunachny district of Homel situated in the city hospital #1, 94.5% of voters, cast their votes for the Belarusian leader.

Such results are impossible even in conditions of harshest dictatorships, so it should be admitted that organizers of the vote in Hrodna regional hospital have obviously tried too hard. It should be related to the fact that recently the State Control Committee recently worked in the hospital and discovered flagrant violations: patients were to bring even spoons, forks and cups with them, as there was shortage in the hospital kitchen. By all appearance, the administration of the hospital had decided to prove themselves in the right politically, demonstrating a “record-breaking” per cent of votes in favour of the incumbent president, “Narodnaya Volya” writes.

As said by observers, according to the copy of the protocol, out of 255 patients of the hospital, 241 voted for the incumbent president. An observer Ivan Laurenau who was present at that station, had no real possibility to monitor the process of the vote count, and gives information making reference to the copy of the protocol of the district commission.
