Alyaksandr Atroshchankau, a press-secretary of the presidential candidate Andrei Sannikov, had been summoned to appear and interrogated in the prosecutor’s office of Minsk region on Monday.

The topic of the interrogation was a much talked-of film of NTV channel “Godbatka-4: The Last Autumn.”

“The investigator of the prosecutor’s office Azarevich was interested by my statement in “Godbatka-4” film, where I expressed my certitude that the death of Aleh Byabenin was a forcible death. I was asked whether I have any concrete information about the murder, or simply expressed my guess. I explained that in an interview to NTV journalists I said that I find the story of Aleh’s suicide unconvincing proceeding from Aleh’s traits of character and the consequences of the event, including the scratch on the left hand, the method of handing, unclear time of the incident and other clashes of the official story.

The investigator was also interested by the activities of Aleh in his running the project of chater97.org website, and who is managing its today,” Alyaksandr Atroshchankau said to the press-service of “European Belarus”.

On Monday Fiodar Paulyuchenka, a friend of Aleh Byabenin, was interrogated in the same case by the prosecutor’s office.

“An investigator Azarevich was interested what are the grounds why I state in “Godbatka-4” film Aleh Byabenin had been murdered. I received a summons from the General Prosecutor’s office. In my explanatory note I once again pointed to the facts which to my mind put in doubt the official story of the suicide: Aleh was not depressed, he had made an appointment to go to the cinema in the evening, he had lots of plans and he had no motives.

The investigator was also interested whether I have additional information in this case. Unfortunately, I do not have undeniable facts to prove that Aleh was murdered,” Fiodar Paulyuchenka said to charter97.org website.
