Delegates from regions not permitted to BPF Party congress

On September 5, a candidate for presidency and a new BPF head will be elected.

As “Salidarnasts” learned from BPF activist Lera Som, a school teacher, she couldn’t attend the congress on Saturday, because of a phone call from the education department of the city executive committee.

“I arranged with the school administration to transfer my lessons from Saturday to other days,” the BPF activist tells. “Two days ago the head of the education department phoned and ordered me to stay at work on Saturday. I am not sure whether this initiative belongs to him: I have good relations with the school administration and the education department. I don’t exclude the education department head was performing someone else’s will.”

Lera Som was not the only person to face similar problems. According to her, another delegate from Polatsk can’t visit the congress due to problems at work.

We remind that two deputy heads of current BPF leader Lyavon Barshcheuski – Viktar Ivashkevich and Alyaksei Yanukevich – pretend to the chairmanship in the BPF party.
