Are there “dead souls” in Lukashenka’s Administration’s council?

  • 4.02.2009, 9:19

It gets clear that the advisory council established by Lukashenka’s Administration has been created just for show as usual.

Recently it was reported that a well-known sociologist, Professor Aleh Manaeu joined the public advisory council formed by the presidential administration. However, Manaeu lives in the US, and he is not going to return to Minsk earlier than July.

Aleh Manaeu works in the state of Tennessee. He is not going to fly from the US to every session of this structure, Professor said in an interview to “Narodnaya Volya”.

“I have read about this Council… as for me personally, nobody contacted me and discussed this matter with me. I didn’t receive an offer to join this Council. I have not the vaguest idea how my name appeared on the list of its members,” Aleh Manaeu said.
