Political prisoner Andrei Kim is transferred into Babrujsk colony No. 2.

“Nasha Niva” has been informed about that by mother of the political prisoner, Tatsyana Kim. She has found out about that today, when she brought a parcel to her son to the remand prison in Valadarski Street.

The new address where a letter could be sent hasn’t been given to her.

As we have informed, 22-year-old Andrei Kim was sentenced to a year and a half in a colony on April 22, 2008. He was found guilty of beating a traffic policeman on January 21. He was also an accused in the Process of Fourteen, for participation in a protest rally of market vendors on January 10.

An appeal was filed on May 2, but as judge is on a leave, consideration of the case is postponed for June, Andrei Kim’s lawyer Tamara Sidarenka said.

By the way, the continuation of the Process of Fourteen is to take place this Friday, when a trial over Mikhail Subach, Paval Vinahradau and Maxim Dashuk starts.

The trial opens at 9.30 a.m. in the court of Tsentralny district of Minsk (Kirau St. 21, room 406). Judge Valery Esman is to try the case..
