Iran is ready to grant aid to Belarus in construction and operation of a nuclear power plant. It has been stated by Iranian Ambassador to Belarus Abdolhamid Fekri on February 27 at a press-conference in Minsk.

As said by him, assistance could be given in all spheres, including financial assistance, training of Belarusian professionals, exchange of experience, equipment installation and training to work with this equipment. The diplomat noted that a support of the Iranian side is possible under a condition that the Belarusian side would ask it officially, and Iran would be able to grant it.

Iranian Ambassador believes that Belarus possesses a good scientific and technology potential. “Despite of hardships which have developed, Iran has opened a new way, a peaceful use of nuclear energy, and is ready to chare its achievements with all who have peaceful goals,” A. Fekri said.
