Vaclav Havel: I believe Belarus will become a free European country (Video)

Former President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Havel addressed the Belarusians in a video report on Christmas Eve.

Leader of the Velvet Revolution Vaclav Havel congratulated Belarusians in his video address, presented by Radio Svaboda:

“I believe that now Belarus has made one step towards free Europe, but sooner or later it will join it. I wish you marry Christmas, both Catholic and Orthodox, and all the best in the new year.”
