Belarusians can’t go abroad from Russia

Russian border guard will receive a data base of people, restricted to leave Belarus, General-Mayor Igar Rachkouski, head of the State Frontier Committee, said journalists in Minsk.

“The data base will be passed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus, just the same as Belarusian law-enforcement bodies have a data base of people, restricted to leave Russia,” I. Rachkouski said.

The head of the State Frontier Committee explained, that having such a data base, Russian border guards won’t allow citizens of Belarus to leave Russia after permission stamp for going abroad will be cancelled in Belarus from 1 January, 2008.
